Now, I'm not a 19th century geek, but I find myself with a question about those split drawers (truly, just odd timing <g>...I went to a play this weekend that had midwestern-US-cancan-dancers in it, and for some reason, I was wondering if that "flip the skirts up over one's head and wiggle one's backside move, or the high kicks, originally offered more of a *koff* view than we'd think).
