to quickly. With fewer paintings and slower segways I think it would have

I thought the quiet peacefulness of many of the faces no matter the time

I thought the early Italian Renaissance portraits worked but once they
started moving into 17th and 18th century portraits the changes were too
great and it looked disturbing.
