That's why stuff like that is only worn by a queen
with gold coming in from the Indies! It's a lot of
gold wire as well as a lot of work. It must have
weighed a ton, even in silk. Imagine in gold work!
Wow.

And of course, though someone else *might* have been
able to afford it, who would dare to wear it,
sumptuarily speaking. It does rather look like gold
embroidery, doesn't. Wow again.

Oh and that green/salmon? I'd have bought it. And it
would probably still be in the trunk... but I could
think about it. :-)
