There's always a market for these feathers. FIrst check to see if the
opera, theater in your area might want them for costuming. They would
want a bunch but not necessarily hundreds at once. I don't know how
long you've been collecting them. Check here, of course. I know there
are millinary lists, but I don't know where they are.


Thanks! I'll check out ebay to see what kinds of things are offered and what kinds of prices are to be had. We've had peafowl the longest, so we have several years' worth of those, and they get longer and more profuse every year. The Lady Amherst and Golden and __?___ pheasants are starting to produce some extraordinary feathers, but never very many at a time. Even the turkeys (Bourbon Red) have interesting feathers, although they don't have the "splash" and drape of the pheasants.

If anyone here wants to write me privately to see about purchasing, feel free! I don't think this is the place for flat-out selling, but if you know of a list where it's welcomed, send info on that too, please.
