Small world -- (doi.) It was Camilla who contacted me originally to do some 
work on a related paper for this type of weaving.  We were successful in 
doing something similar for a Vach, just by taking a flour sack towel and 
stretching the edges.  It distorted enough to make the smaller crinkles you 
see on those.

I wasn't aware that the papers were available online.  She told me she was 
starting an online magazine....of course I can't find that link right now. 
I will pass it along when I hear back from her.
