Hi, I'm just about to make 15th century hose, this style (rather not split,
however):

http://www.historicenterprises.com/misc/refpics/testard_pourpoint.jpg

I have some patterns in the Tudor tailor and A.Harmand's book, but I'm not very
sure about enlarging it to fit the man's figure, I don't actually know how
exactly shall I do it...

...so I thought about buying some commercial pattern for the start and then fit
the hose to the body.

I know the tudor tailor webpage sells some and mediaval miscellanea too, maybe
other companies? Have you tried any of such patterns? What experience did you
have? What would be the best one to choose?

The man I'm doing it for is slim, about 20 years old, if that'll help you:-)

Thanks,

Zuzana
