It's actually interesting how I can understand every shot even if it is in Danish. There are so many shows on like this in English.... British and American... that I could tell exactly what was going on and what people were saying. The medium.... like all such frauds... was very good. Give her an award! These ghost stories are so funny when taken seriously. How did they end up with that gown anyway? * * * * Back in 1979 I designed "The Three Penny Opera" as a senior design student. There is a brothel scene in which I put the girls in teddies, tap pants, chemises....all kinds of what was just then becoming trendy lingerie but also period [we did it in WWI] Last year I went to a show at my old college... another Brecht play: "The Good Woman of Szechwan". In one scene the actors are pinning up laundry on a line to dry. Up goes one of my outfits for the other Brecht show. Back stage I complimented the props designer for her superior taste in undies. She looked at me sideway so I explained she had used something I had designed 30 years ago. "Well, I got the Brecht feel right, I suppose". I quipped. But it's true, you never know where your costumes will end up.
