One of my 16th Century gowns ended up on the cover of a re-enactor's supply catalogue. Pretty funny. Monica

There is a brothel scene in which I put the girls in teddies, tap pants, chemises....all kinds of what was just then becoming trendy lingerie but also period [we did it in WWI] Last year I went to a show at my old college... another Brecht play: "The Good Woman of Szechwan". In one scene the actors are pinning up laundry on a line to dry. Up goes one of my outfits for the other Brecht show. Back stage I complimented the props designer for her superior taste in undies. She looked at me sideway so I explained she had used something I had designed 30 years ago. "Well, I got the Brecht feel right, I suppose". I quipped.
