Raz remembered s'more. He found this:

Silk Market

Sat in the heart of Dong Jia Du Lu, this market is best reached by
getting a taxi as finding it on foot is not easy and it's quite a
hike. A wide array of silks, some better quality than others but
bargain silk scarves and shawls to be found here. Haggling encouraged!

Xiang Yang Lu Clothes Market

As centrally located as you could wish for, please allow at least 3
hours to tour this market! Has toilets, refreshments and people
offering you VCDs/DVDs for sale on almost every corner. This markets
sits on the corner of Huai Hai Zhong Lu and Xiang Yang Nan Lu.

The clothes on offer here are amazingly cheap, but please do not just
accept the first offer, haggle away to your hearts' content here. Some
people say a better bargain is had in the early evening as the vendors
are prepared to haggle and get lower prices. For anything you can
imagine, this place is a Must-See in Shanghai.
