That's the major problem with ordering over the internet, you never really know what you're getting until it arrives. And with places like FashionFabrics, which carry a lot of random bolts left over from fashion manufacturers, you can't be sure that anything you are getting is going to be at all what you expect. Any two wools or velvets are likely to be of completely different origin.
Some really good deals there, though, if you're willing to take the chance. :)
I haven't seen any nice wools in a long time, an I have lousy luck trying to dye anything.
