Even better than burning it, send it to the Robin Netherton Home for Wayward Bad Costume Books. I have a shelf full of unreliable sources that I consult frequently when I'm trying to track down the origins of a misconception and to sort out the sequence of a chain of erroneous interpretations.

I pick up some volumes in used bookstores and at library sales, but I'd really rather spend my money on the good resources! So if you have a book that's too awful to use, and you want to take it out of of the hands of unwary costumers AND put it to constructive use, contact me and see if I have it already, or if I need it. I'll gladly reimburse for postage.
