I bought QEWU when it first came out. I don't think I paid $100 for it. On the other end, I paid $200 for English Icon, but it's a first edition and signed. I bought it from a friend who was selling off/giving away her library. I feel I stole it from her, but that's what she asked for it.
Last month I paid the same amount for a Victorian bustle dress made by a friend who wouldn't be wearing it again - underskirt, overskirt, dinner bodice, train, hairpiece and purse. She was going to throw in a pair of matching shoes but they didn't fit.
