In celebration of the Society for Medieval Archeology's 50th aniversary, the
first 50 volumes of the journal "Medieval Archeology" have been placed
online for free viewing at
http://ads.ahds.ac.uk/catalogue/library/med_arch/
There is as list of them by years and I just clicked on 1984 at random to
find a 30 page article on late Saxon textile finds in the City of London!
