I used to belong to this list, and have made several historical costumes since leaving. But I'm way out of touch with what h-costumers are doing, so I'm back. These days I only have occasion to wear outfits from the mid-1800s and from within a few years of 1901, but am trying to branch out into the 1880s. I also am interested in European ethnic garments, and pretty much any ethnic garment with cross stitch on it. (By 2009, any ethnic outfit that still has all ethnic components and no Western European ones, like shoes or a t-shirt, is historical.)
Right now I'm working on something historical for CostumeCon (including 43 embroidered buttons), and wondering how I'll ever get it finished by the time I have to leave for the event - where have I heard that before? -- Carolyn Kayta Barrows -- Blank paper is God's way of saying it ain't so easy being God. -- _______________________________________________ h-costume mailing list [email protected] http://mail.indra.com/mailman/listinfo/h-costume
