Welcome back Carolyn! I admire you taking on 43 embroidered buttons. I
hope to go to Costume Con and want to see your buttons!
I also have my hands in a lot of pots. I having been on putting online the
last half of the antique photo collection of First Communion and
Confirmation children. The focus is on their dress. There are over 100
photos. A lovely h-costumer loaned her collection of photos to put online.
I started collecting 1st Communion photos when my daughter made her
communion when she was in second grade. Now she is in 11th grade! Next
week, I am starting my daughter's prom dress or confirmation dress. She is
buying one and I am making the other. Thud! I just heard the h-costume
old-timers hit the floor! My daughter was 5 y.o. when I joined h-costume.
Two weeks ago, I was in Las Vegas for the Halloween & Costume trade show.
It was a lot of fun. I photographed two of their fashions shows. So I know
what new costumes will be out for Halloween. I also photographed the
showgirl costumes for the show "Jubilee!" I stayed an extra day to see two
shows, and my photograph Liberace's costumes.
