I agree that she looks very much alive. The pose for both of them looks totally normal for the time period. I also agree that she is simply looking at something else than the groom. I do not think that he looks upset and there really were a lot of mourning rituals back then. Her flowers do not look any more real than his do. Does anybody know if photographers back then could superimpose such things?
