Hello, I just recently subscribed because I was told that you could possibly
help me with the answer to my questions. I am interested in making a 12th
century woman's outfit. What would the clothing have consisted of, from
undergarments to outerwear? What kind of a support garment would they have
worn, ie a corset? What type of footwear & stockings or leggings? What types
of fabrics would have been used for each garment? How many would a woman have
of each? Lastly, what would these items have looked like? I apologize for so
many questions, but I haven't been able to turn up much with my own research.
