Good point, that, and probably the one thing I forget (then have a d'oh! moment afterwards!) just about every time I dye something. I'll give it a shot, see what happens, and continue searching for the perfect colour even if not tucked. A dye experiment does sound like fun, that's for sure.
Nothing like a convention to bring back the desire to sew... just got home last night from a wonderful small con in Maryland, Intervention Con (your online life in-person!) and saw some excellent costuming.
