Hi, I will update the feature comparison, now that HSQLDB 2.0 is released. I will remove "Transaction Isolation" and "Cost Based Optimizer" because all databases now support it (more or less).
> Also, in the interests of fairness, maybe an entry indicating that HSQLDB > supports multi-threaded MVCC, while H2 does not. Yes, that's true. HSQLDB supports also other features that H2 doesn't (text tables for example, or ability to be integrated in OpenOffice) and vice versa. The list could grow almost endlessly... What I wanted to do is show a list of "important" features. It's quite hard to judge which features are important of course. If everybody agrees multithreaded MVCC is very important then I will add it. I personally don't think it's very important for typical H2 use cases (otherwise more people would have complained already :-) > "So, what are that not telling me?". For a more detailed feature comparison, you at least need to read the documentation. The home page can only tell you a subset of the whole picture of course. > fails to mention If there is anything missing in the documentation then please tell me. But I will not add everything on the front page :-) Regards, Thomas -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "H2 Database" group.
