I wonder is it possible at all to run h2 inside applet because it caches blobs
locally into files.

Is it possible to use H2 jdbc client inside an applet that is not signed?
The first exception when trying to connect is
Caused by: java.security.AccessControlException: access denied
(java.util.PropertyPermission h2.aliasColumnName read)
This is caused by trying to read a system property at
org.h2.engine.SettingsBase.get(SettingsBase.java:78)
System.getProperty() method is invoked in 7 different classes (8 times) but
only in
SysProperties line 396 is that call put inside a try-catch block with the
following comment
try {
return System.getProperty(name);
} catch (Exception e) {
// SecurityException
// applets may not do that - ignore
return null;
}
So should we deal with the possible AccessControlException in those 7 other
places too?
