Tim,

I don't want to discourage your exploration, but I feel obligated to 
point out that the Solaris Cluster Express entitlement does not allow 
production use. Because of that, the release testing for SCX is not as 
thorough as testing for a production release. That's not to say that the 
feature might not be production ready in theory, just that we can't say 
that with any certainty.

If and when the lofi globaldevices feature shows up in a production 
release, you can rest assured that it will be production ready (yes, I 
realize that's a tautology, but it's the best I can say at this point).

That said, you can certainly use SCX to try out the feature and perform 
whatever testing you require to determine whether it's suitable for your 
environment.
