I have a few questions concerning Quorum Server. Is there a plan to open source Quorum Server? If so, any ideas on when it might happen?
Second, are there any requirements (throughput, latency, etc...) that Quorum Server has that would place restrictions on the interconnect to the cluster nodes? For example could the quorum server be located at a remote location as long it was connected to the servers over an intranet? Could you even take this so far as to use the Internet to provide the quorum server to server interconnect (I know that this would probably be a bad idea, I'm just curious it is technically possible). -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
