I think we're talking about two different configuration databases. Here is a link to the section I was refering to in the Sun Cluster and Sun StorageTek Availability Suite 4.0 Software Software Integration Guide: http://docs.sun.com/source/819-6150-10/chap2.html#pgfId-1011431 It refers to a "cluster-specific" configuration database.
