Guys, thanks for your feedback. Well, maybe I'm so far simply misled by the idea that a cluster is best defined by its role and that a set of different roles will consequently lead to a set of interacting clusters. Just as it is also common practice to separate roles into DMZs (we also do this in the named setting).
So, would you suggest that I'd rather combine all roles into one cluster and use resource groups to map roles? But then, is it a good idea to spread a cluster over multiple DMZs? I'm feeling a little uneasy weakening the separation I've introduced via DMZs by using a cluster. What do you think? What is your best practice? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
