Sounds like you updated your blogroll plugin as well, which expects you to be running the latest version of Habari from SVN. The HabariDateTime class handles dates and manages timezones and the like and is not included in 0.5. Unfortunately we're not really at a point yet where we can reasonably expect backwards compatibility with things in -extras. Hopefully sometime in the next release or two we'll be able to deploy some solutions that will help with that.
I'm not sure about the Charcoal error. I don't think that anything's been changed in the handling of Tags, but I could be mistaken. If you haven't created a ticket for that yet, please do.
