The odd thing is that I assumed that was already the policy, at least
that's the policy outlined by the Apache meritocracy model, if I
understood Rich correctly in the discussion that took place on the
cabal list after the uproar over the buttons (which now seems like a
bad idea for that discussion to be on a private list, considering if
that had been a more public discussion, we might not be having this
again).
As to the point of the recent color changes, that's why I took my
issues with the commit to the private list first(as I was speaking to
a larger question that Owen is now bringing up), rather than just rip
it out. Randy said it was a mistake, and I'll take it at face value.
The last thing I'll add is a quote from the last message on the the
thread from the private list. I won't attribute it, as I don't want
to cross any lines of what's "private"

opinion, explain your reasoning in the commit message, and don't be a
dick
and we should all be fine... "
Isn't that kinda what everyone is trying to say?
