Please do not remove support to a database in a point release when we have the option to fix the support that is poor but present. If someone in addition to Michael has pgsql and can test the patch attached to the ticket please go ahead and do a quick one.
If it works, please commit it. After that, and although I vouch for including the fix in 0.6.1, we can still talk about when to include it.
