If Habari is to make use of MediaWiki, then the restructuring makes
sense. However, after thinking about what other open source projects
use, I'm inclined to think that MediaWiki is just a temporary fix. The
projects I've made the most use of in the past 4 months are probably
Python, Perl, Django, and Drupal. User contribution is sought after,
but done thru mailing lists rather than direct edits. Maybe it's too
early for this and there aren't enough people interested in
contributing in this way, but it's worth discussing the actual
alternatives to MW instead of restructuring the Wiki and then
switching systems a few months later.
