Yes! I know and I looked over it:
(1) The translation in Launchpad is informal German ("Du")
I started the formal German translation ("Sie")
(2) I will translate some things different to the actual
translation.

I already made a ticket for something else (also translation
specific) and will make a ticket for the things I mentioned in the
mail. I found some more places, where variables are passe to the
gettext functions ...
I also found some hard coded texts in the code ... I will try to
make patches and will open a ticket.
