Also add to this that it's summer in the northern hemisphere (where most of
us are based) with most people stepping away from their computers to be with
their family out in the glorious sunshine (when it's out :-) ). Most
projects tend to slow down over the summer months.

If you've got the time and skills, we could really do with some help in
resolving some of the blockers in the list Michael linked to.  They're the
primary thing holding back the next release.
