Logging into my Habari installation under HTTPS was working fine yesterday, but today I'm getting basically the symptoms of http://wiki.habariproject.org/en/Troubleshooting#I_can.27t_login._I_keep_getting_the_login_page_over_and_over.2C_even_when_I_put_in_the_correct_password.21 -- under HTTPS only, not regular HTTP login.
I tried the solution on that page and it didn't work. (I also tried updating to 0.7-alpha r4987.) The changes I made in the session prior to first encountering this problem were to activate the Habari Media Silo and Feedburner plugins (with the former requiring me to install the GD library). Deactivating these plugins didn't help, even when I tried removing the php5-gd and libgd2-xpm packages again. In my cherokee.error log I'm seeing lines like this: >Cannot bind/listen socket - [98] Address already in use. >Couldn't create FastCGI listen socket on port 127.0.0.1:47990 However, new instances have stopped appearing, so I think these may have been related to some other problem I've accidentally fixed while digging around. To add to the mystery, I did manage an HTTPS login under Opera on my Ubuntu desktop install--but Firefox fails under both Linux and Windows, and IE8 fails too, and this hardly seems like an obvious browser issue...
