Anyone still having problems: Can you try updating to r5083 if you're using SVN or downloading the habari_head.zip from habariproject.org/dist/ if you're using a zip version?
You'll probably need to delete the existing cookies, but after that hopefully the problem should be fixed. Please let me know how it goes...

I also recently reinstalled OS X on my computer to go back to Snow Leopard off of Lion, and recently updated to the 0.7 final release when it started; then went to 0.8 trunk and after a few days i could log in again.
