My next step is to install Drupal so that I have a sandbox for dev for the
media module.

My domain name is www.bankofknowledge.net (which hasn't been used for much
in the years I've owned it until I started my blog). My host is
westhost.com

The crux of my problem seems to be the mySQL part. The installation calls
for a database not a table. I have one database called bankofknowledgedb
that currently holds the tables for my mt blog. I know I can just
substitute the db the instructions call drupal with bankofknowledgedb, but
then it starts talking about permissions for that database and I don't
want my blog open. Besides I'm not sure I have the ability to change the
permissions since have access to mySQL through phpMyAdmin. How should deal
with this?

"In Germany they first came for the Communists, and I didn't speak up
because I wasn't a Communist. Then they came for the Jews and I didn't
speak up because I wasn't a Jew. Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak up because I wasn't a trade unionist. Then they came
for the Catholics and I didn't speak up because I was a Protestant. Then
they came for me - and by that time no one was left to speak up."
