Hi all,

Been lurking for a bit and am ready to jump in where needed...still trying to get a sense of that.  First I just want to second what Zephyr said here.

>>We'll do the legal work -- its our job, and our boss, on the line, and even talking about the FEC in ways that are inaccurate can get me, and through me Dean, in a lot of hot water.
Thanks!

After all we want Dean to be our 'boss' too right?  My never humble opinion on this is that it's cheaper, easier, safer, and faster to code and tech support around the FEC rather than through them.

Snip from my SignUpGoodAt:

>>Since I'm still trying to feeble wrap brain around Drupal's explanation of Taxanomy, I'm thinking the Admin interface could use some help. I will post to the mailing list about that I suppose. Is anyone working on Drupal Admin for Dummies Like Me? I'll be available to offer node/user tech support and will attempt to jump in over at NodeSupport. My forte seems to be usability (ok no a forte but a peeve of mine - half the people I know don't even know what a blog is much less a site cloud), layout/CSS, scripting... client side interface stuff, database design on the other end, facilitation, organizing, communications.>>

QUESTION: Is anyone working on user friendly documentation and perhaps rewording some of the Admin text/language? Shout back if you are please.

 i.e Administration>>user management>>user permissions states:

"In this area you will define the permissions for each user role (Role names are defined in user roles). Each permission describes a fine-grained logical operation, such as being able to access the administration pages, or adding/modifying a user account. You could say a permission represents access granted to a user to perform a set of operations."

"Fine-grained logical operation"?  Language like that will scare people. I know this because it scared me!

Sorry if this is redundant.  I just signed on a few days ago. I will go read archives now ;)
