[haml] Can I get Haml to not escape attributes?

I'm using jqote templates so i'm trying to get something like this:

%li{ :data => {:id => "<%= this.id %>"}}

which produces

<li data-id='&lt;%= this.id %&gt;'>

Is there anyway I can tell Haml not to escape that?
