I've just ran over the game "UltraStar Deluxe" -- It is definitely something that is *really really cool* to rock up the SFD (and any of your party/family activity for that matter.) It is a music game like Guitar Hero/Frets On Fire (OSS)/DDR/Rock Band but no learning curve is required and there is no barrier to join.
Basically you sing to a karaoke song (there are plenty of modern "top of the chart" as well as oldies available to choose, as well as creative common songs of Jonathan Coulton like the Still Alive, Flickr, Coding Monkey... really nice!) and the program judges your singing based on your performance (and it's perfectly OK for 6 people singing the same song at once on a competition!) -- and for people who are not familiar with karaoke and singing, it's ok to drop some notes because it is not like Karaoke in which you don't have the actual singer singing on the background! Runs on Linux, Windows and comes with a nice set of default selection of songs. So I propose this game to be the game of choice as it's free, fun and still geeky at the same time! For a demo of what it's like: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JawSmZldK18&feature=related This is really fun ;-) PS: No Unicode Support yet for now so no Vietnamese songs, for now. - H. 2009/5/23 Vu Do Quynh <vu.do.quynh at auf.org>: > Ch?o c?c b?n, > > T?i v?a ??ng k?
