There are good news and bad news for everyone: Good news 1 : Actually the software is called ultrastar-ng on the Ubuntu repo.
Good news 2: UltraStar and Ultrastar-ng actually supports UTF-8. Bad news 1: There is another folk called performous, also available on the Ubuntu repo.
