Fine, now I understand the need of the first listener. I didn't have
ldirectord in the equation ;-)
OK, then I think I'll work on 2 patches :
- the first one to make the listener optional for the ldirectord
compatible version (I'll also add a note about this in the
documentation), when external checks are used only in a "backend"
section and not in a "listen" one.
- the second one to add environment variables.
That way, I think we'll cover all the use cases.
