I’ve followed her on twitter as the only reason I use spaces, and I can tell she is single-handedly the most informed person about this subject on the internet, and that’s why Glenn Beck had her on (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NuxOkOhREqU&pp=ygUZZ2xlbm4gYmVjayBnb2xkaWUgZ2hhbWFyaQ%3D%3D) , and she is finally on YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/@gghamarimpp) , not just on X all the time! Her 101 videos are the crash-course you need (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGQAIYMwTOw&pp=ygULZ2hhbWFyaSAxMDE%3D) if you’re completely bewildered by the fires and burning mosques in every city in what you might not realize is Greater Persia (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL_-Kd_WSmEAF9M5mx61ic9mmn90vEPuyV) . Her deep dive into the 1979 revolution left me more deeply educated than Zappa’s contemporaneous satire (https://adamgolding.substack.com/p/musical-emancipation-parallels-genocide) , which had already tipped me off. And her daily livestreams (https://www.youtube.com/@gghamarimpp/streams) are where you’ll hear the latest-breaking, most authentic version of the news about what we’re getting instead of a holy war leading to ww3 and Armageddon — this is big: This is bigger than the fall of the Berlin Wall. This is bigger than the fall of the Soviet Union. This is bigger than the execution of Charlie Kirk. This is it — Iran is popping off. Pay attention or let history pass you by. Speaking of history, there is an opportunity here to overturn a historic injustice far more ancient than the Islamic colonization of Iran — we all know equal rights are not a thing in Islam, where women are permitted three fewer spouses than men, and legal man-harems (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MiS1lZJ3OQU&list=PL_-Kd_WSmEAF9M5mx61ic9mmn90vEPuyV&index=23) are not a way for women to build political power, but while the historic ban on polyandry stems from neighbouring Sumeria (https://adamgolding.substack.com/p/sumerian-sperm-competition) , it is in Iran where we’re about to see an entirely new legal system overnight, with its roots in a fight for Women’s Rights (https://theanarchistlibrary.org/library/julia-tanenbaum-to-destroy-domination-in-all-forms) , with an obvious opportunity to correct bugs like double-standards in the code (http://goldingcode.org) — And the historic ‘fix’, by limiting the rights of both genders, is not it — freedom (https://adamgolding.substack.com/p/the-missing-literature-in-sapolskys?utm_source=publication-search) doesn’t only matter when it’s not equal, it’s an independent, autonomous good. What this means is that, unlike gay marriage, which was legalized first in liberal Canada and only in 2008 (https://adamgolding.substack.com/p/monogamy-is-gross?utm_source=publication-search) in terrorist America (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2lk97RmZNf8&pp=0gcJCU0KAYcqIYzv) , Iran may now lead the way in legalizing plural marriage for women, putting the ‘enlightened’ west to shame. This isn’t analysis — it’s amplification in service of personal relevance. Framing complex conflicts in maximalist, civilizational terms may grow an audience, but it does not meaningfully help Iranians on the ground, Christians or Muslims in Nigeria, or anyone caught in those conflicts. In fact, it often does the opposite: It simplifies realities that require precision. It hardens narratives that regimes and extremists actively exploit. It replaces evidence with urgency and endorsement. None of the parties supposedly being “defended” benefit from influencer-driven outrage cycles. Regimes gain propaganda cover, extremists gain recruitment narratives, platforms gain engagement, and commentators gain attention. Civilians gain nothing. If the goal were outcomes rather than clicks, the work would look very different: sourcing, proportional language, acknowledgment of uncertainty, and a focus on what actually reduces harm — not what drives subscriptions and views.
