It seems that before

! Fixed to properly check GD lib version for conditional
compiling. Formerly used GD_VERS isn't defined by the
library headers.
GD_VERS was "self defined" to 2.0.33 or 2.0.28.
Now that version checking works it found my 2.0.36 and compile the
function that before was excluded.
