As Viktor had said, hbdoc is a bit dodgy. As for the doc directory, it contain 
group
of white paper and how-to's in it root, and doc/en contain original work 
documentation.
The docs were not updated in the past 9 years (sorry, not in a position to do 
that anymore)
so parts marked as Harbour Exceptions are probably obsolete. Basic clipper 
functions
and command are probably accurate. doc/es is translated subset of doc/en but as 
I don't
read Spanish, I can't tell you much about the quality of those.
