Hi Sudip and everybody,
I'm not an "expert in-depth" in PostgreSQL but of course I'll try my best.
what should be "your"
suggestion to start with - MySql, PostgreSql or any other?
Learn SQL! MySQL and PostgreSQL are servers of SQL and this means that .-
SQL it's used for abstracted physical data from the application using it.
You send text SQL commands to server and receives, if no error, affected rows
or a 2-dimensional array of data result.
IMHO, Harbor is very good to worker with texts and arrays.
Also objects class and RDD can help to work with texts and arrays and there are
contributions of this.
But the most important thing is, if your force the way to work in DBF to this
servers is like do races between cars and jets
but forbidden flying. :'( Maybe it's good and easy to come back origin and
working with texts and arrays.
If you want, I can start a new thread on this topic, ...
Thanks but is indifferent to me, is more important what Pritpal want?, IMHO.

Hello Xavi,
So... How many times faster than postgres should be? 8-) hmm... Ok no
marketing with postgres. :)
May be I am out of the track, but I can't resist myself to know about
PostgreSql from you ;)
I have no experience about prosgreSql. I have little experience about MySql.
In HMG Forum one member told me about PostgreSql. If a person like me, has
little experience of Harbour+RDBMS (any rdbms), what should be "your"
suggestion to start with - MySql, PostgreSql or any other?
If you want, I can start a new thread on this topic, which will be helpful
for novice users like me :)
Thank you in advance.
With best regards.
Sudip
