It is not a shame of Linux. Don't forget that Linux mainly meens freedom of
choice. Even me, who i am a newbie at Linux (8 months my only os at home)
admire that freedom of choice. Whatever i want to change at my
installation/desktop i can, even the main menu ("start" menu of win), my
taskbars, all elements, whatever i want.
On the other hand, building harbour from source in not unfamiliar for
developers, i mean we always compile our apps. A developer has to spend
aprox 5 minuts to read the INSTALL doc to find out what he must define
before the building of harbour. Just 5 minutes. Not so difficult, even for
me.
