I'm very sad because your interpretation of the facts.

Maybe, as Angel said, it could be because idiomatic barriers (English is not my native tongue).

Anyway, the facts, are that I've been working during all the weekend to make hbmk2 to work with HMG and published a build containing it.

When discovered that incremental builds containing forms or reports will be not created correctly, I've removed it, and replaced with a simple batch file, protecting the users from potential problems. That's all.

Sorry, I didn't see the background from here. In all HMG
distros I ever saw, build system was always COMPILE.BAT
based.

Although I still can't see what is exactly the problem you
mention, so can't recommend anything regarding hbmk2.

To tell anything more, probably the best would be if you'd
post an hbmk2 cmdline as you tried it. I don't understand
what sort of preprocessing takes place what makes in unusable.
I must be something outside the realm of built-in procedures.

I guess that both (you and me) expossed our opinions deeply enough already, so I prefer to not continue with this thread by the moment.

I'd also rather prefer to continue with something
technical.

Brgds,
Viktor
