I also hate when someone commits the code to SVN and then I have to clean it, fix bugs, update for other platforms or resolve problems created by some extensions when I do not use such code or anything related to it myself so it's completely useless for me but original author is not interested in updating it and people (sometimes even author) reports bugs/problems expecting that someone will resolve them. In this particular case the problem is at least partially caused by missing timeout in hbsms library so it may fail even with perfectly working hbtpathy library. HBSMS is your code and now you are expecting that I'll update it. I can understand that you do not want to add any extension to this code. But stupid modification which set 1 second timeout in all com operation to fix wrong code you committed should not take more then 1 minute for you. Instead you restored old wrong tpathy code and Jarek sent idiotic message thanking you for restoring the bug. best regards, Przemek _______________________________________________ Harbour mailing list (attachment size limit: 40KB) [email protected] http://lists.harbour-project.org/mailman/listinfo/harbour
