Dear Friends, My wife and I are both avid SWLers, and are thinking that we would like to be able to respond to the HAM transmissions that we so often hear (if for nothing else to tell them to say their callsign SLOWLY!). We are, however, concerned about the expense of purchasing usable tranceivers / antennas etc without killing our somewhat limited income. Do any SWL/HAMS have suggestions about beginning equipment?
