HAARP Test Heard the test signal at 0249 EST on 7.4 mc. on 21 January 2008. The signal was _VERY_ weak with lots of QRM from Radio Bulgaria. Have no idea if it was from HAARP or the reflection signal.
Thought I listen for the full hour I only heard a small part of the test around 0240 EST. The Drake R-4C is a ham band only receiver, so it does not cover the 6.5 to 7.0mc part of the short-wave spectrum, thus making it just a little bit hard to hear the test on the 6.7 mc frequency. (Because I never bought the crystal for that frequency range.) My antenna is a home made 40 meter inverted V, with the apex height of 20 feet.
