SLBC said LTTE leader killed
The SLBC has officially declared that LTTE Velupille Prabhakaran has been
killed from an attack of the Army. Furthermore, the Ministry says together with
the LTTE leader Intelligence Leader Pottu Amman and Sea Tiger leader Soosei
have also been killed from this attack this morning. Exclusively speaking to
SLBC Army Commander Lieutenant General Sarath Fonseka said the security forces
have now united the country by liberating all the areas that were under the
LTTE control. He also added the Army has successfully completed its task given
by the President as the Commander in Chief to liberate the country from the
