** ALBANIA [non]. Re: ``9395, UT Sunday April 8 at 0200, WRMI 9395 goes from
music, ID, to JIP Radio Tirana already in programming rather than opening
announcement. At least it`s in English, but the autorecording timer must be
askew``

Alexander Busneag, Germany replies in the WOR iogroup: ``In fact, it's Radio
Tirana's stream starting about 1.5 minutes too early, e. g. at 01:58:30 instead
of 02:00:00 UT.

Stream:

** ALGERIA [non]. Re: ``There are also scads of imaginary registrations for the
ORG or BEC sites within Algeria, which have been under construxion forever and
will presumably replace France if they ever exist. None of them are on the same
frequencies as via ISS``

Wolfgang Büschel replies: ``Yes, plans first appeared in 2006 / 2007 season,
but now in Sept - Nov 2017 the engineers of Ampegon / like
Bodo_DF8DX__HB9EHJ__5N7Q from Thomson Turgi in Switzerland were in Algeria to
set up the 3 antennas on each site, - azimuth BEC to southeast, ORG at 210deg
to southwest - cross-over RTA signals on Sahel/Sahara zone.

Each month I check the Google Earth / Google Maps / BING images from
satellite, but only images of last year 2017 seen so far for public access. At
present see the setup-wounds on ground, now already the re-white coloured mast
parts visible on the location. But no actual images of 2018 year accessible
yet, unfortunately. 73 wolfy`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** ANGUILLA. 11775, April 8 at 1356, CB is on with music break; had been
missing several days at random chex. 6090 was still off circa 0630 (Glenn
Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** CUBA. April 8, it`s a biweek past the beginning of A-18, which means it`s
about time for frequency manager Arnie to catch up with RHC seasonal changes.
Let`s check the RHC website for the new sked!
http://www.radiohc.cu/interesantes/frecuencias
O my, it`s *still* the A-16 sked from a biyear ago!!! Eventually Arnie will
availablize the new transmission schedule elsewise. Without any notice, I have
so far found the following changes.

6180, April 8 at 0630, NEW for RHC English, apparently ex-6165 which is
missing. Will this apply to the entire span 01-07 UT?? You`d think Arnie would
have secretly consulted public HFCC data which he disdains, and if he had,
would have found that 6180 is already occupied by:

01-02 CRI English via Kashgar
04-05 RRI in Romanian
04-05 Channel Africa in English
0530-0630 VOA São Tomé in French
0600-0630 Deutscher Wetterdienst
NOT to mention possibility of RNA Brasil reclaiming it without notice!

6180 RHC is S9+20 but undermodulated; others // as before: 6000, 6060, 6100-JBM.

15370, April 8 at 1327 is gone! And with it the spur constellation, but we
can`t yet be sure this is not just an anomaly. 15230 is still on air, but
broken up; at 1353, its carrier is wobbling and undermod.

13700, NEW apparently replaces 15370, VG signal but no spurs audible yet. Total
spans of these unknown yet, but 13700 better be off by 1500 when VOA starts. //
much weaker 13740 also NEW. Just a biweek ago, CRI switched 15700 to 13740
starting at 1400, English until 1600, so maybe same transmitter before 1400 now
for RHC. By 1420 recheck, 13740 still CRI English. And 13700 still RHC Spanish.

At 1330, confirmed RHC also still on: 11760, 9535, 6060, 6000. NOT on now:
11840 with parasites, 9640. At 1353, only 17730 on 16mb.

11760, April 8 at 1513, Sunday-only Esperanto at 1500 reconfirmed.

Someone else caught new 6180, Luis H. Esquivel, K6LHE, who wrote me: ``Hello,
Radio Habana Cuba heard in southern California on 6180 kHz (confirmed with
6000), 0555 UT Sunday 4.8.18 ending the hourly programming and continuing on at
0600 restarting their hourly segments. Lena Valverde covering for Ed Newman;
SINPO 45444, perhaps a 340 beam on this not listed frequency much better
modulated and stronger than 6000. 73 Luis k6lhe``

** OKLAHOMA. Another correxion: Del City is SE, not SW of OKC: fixed:

87.9 MHz FM, April 7 at 1809 UT, I find myself in Del City, SE suburb of OKC,
as I start an FM bandscan, already an OOB signal here in Spanish --- gospel
huxter, shortly mentions Pacific Garden Mission, Chicago, i.e. those who bring
us `Desencadenados` = `Unshackled`, are participating in piracy. Also heard
programming from them later. 1815 UT ID as Radio Calvario en Oclajoma City,
with a frequency I missed but presumably this. . .
(Glenn Hauser, OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 521 kHz, April 8 at 0635, ND beacon ORC --- NOT listed on this or any
frequency (including 260/261 in case it`s second harmonic) nor any similar
fuzzy call near either, in dxinfocentre.com --- but it IS listed at
https://www.classaxe.com/dx/ndb/rna/signal_list
on 521 as 25 watts from Orange City, Iowa, which is in the NW corner near Sioux
Center, i.e. about equidistant from Sioux Falls and Sioux City (Glenn Hauser,
OK, DX LISTENING DIGEST)

** U S A. 5830 & 5085, April 8 at 0633, WTWW both on now: 5830 with SFAW, no
spurs; 5085 gospel music with the usual plus/minus 12.9 kHz spur carriers. See
previous report where I found those flanking 9475, implying it was the same
transmitter normally used on 5085, swapping #1 with #2 (Glenn Hauser, OK, DX
LISTENING DIGEST)

This report dispatched at 1544 UT April 8
