The Hardball Briefing On MSNBC
------------------------------------------------------
We're very excited around the office this morning as it's Wednesday and that means
College Tour...Tonight we've got John McCain from Fordham University in the
Bronx...You think know McCain? Well, we're going to talk to the man behind the
Senator and the Senator behind the man....How's that for getting to know the guy?
According to Fordham though, the event in not open to the public so you'll just have
to enjoy it from the comfort of you own home...Nonetheless it will be a fun and
interactive experience for all those in attendance...We hope you'll catch some of the
fun from home...Hey don't sweat it, I won't be there either...

In other news, a bombshell is dropped on the front page of The Washington Post about
the managerial style of Rumsfeld and the unhappy brass under his control...Pretty
interesting stuff, I'm sure it has all the tongues wagging across the river in
Arlington...I'm putting it in the clip and save category...
Plus, Bush signs the war resolution and Sharon's in town to discuss the Middle East
and Iraq...And I got some fun stuff about a new "Baghdad Babs" ad running Long
Island...It appears also that Saddam's going to win a squeaker in that Iraqi
election...A true nailbiter..

Fun excerpt..."There is still a glass bowl in the secretary's office. Rumsfeld likes
to tell people that if he says anything nice about anyone, a coin is put in the bowl.
Rumsfeld likes to point out that the bowl is almost always empty. It puzzles some
generals that he would take pride in such a hard-line approach."
